Quality Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the production and continuous improvement teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer
Location: Painesville, OH
Pay Range: $100,000-$110,000 annually
What's the Job?
- Developing and implementing supplier quality control procedures
- Conducting comprehensive supplier audits
- Driving corrective actions related to supplier quality issues
- Overseeing the Approved Vendor List
- Supporting the calibration and documentation systems
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field
- 3+ years of experience in quality engineering or supplier quality
- Experience with AS 9100 or other relevant quality standards
- Proficiency in quality management analysis tools
- Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC)
- Proficiency in supplier audit methodologies
