Your Responsibilities:

  • Complete all necessary training, including the Zaxbys Shift Leader Development Plan and Food Safety Certification.
  • Create a high-performance culture while mentoring and coaching team members to meet company standards.
  • Prioritize guest and team member experiences by resolving issues kindly and respectfully.
  • Develop and maintain a positive team atmosphere through recognition and leading by example.
  • Communicate shift goals clearly and motivate team members to reach their potential.
  • Assign tasks and supervise team performance during your shift.
  • Uphold operational standards and ensure compliance with Zaxbys policies and procedures.
  • Enhance guest experiences by ensuring that expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Oversee deliveries, maintaining proper stock levels and completing daily inventory counts.
  • Monitor food production for quality and safety, taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Plan shift-related duties and ensure completion of opening and closing tasks.
  • Collaborate with management to set and track progress on goals.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and management tools.
  • Report human resources and risk management issues promptly.
  • Perform additional duties necessary for smooth restaurant operations.

Your Qualifications:

  • Aged 18 years or older.
  • Reliable transportation is a must.
  • Availability to work a minimum of 5 days per week, 32 to 40 hours.
  • Flexible scheduling required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Successful completion of a background check.
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills and cooperative interaction with others.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Occasional bending, climbing, and lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent use of hands for grasping and fine motor tasks.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to perceive and respond to environmental changes with good audio-visual skills.
  • Capable of working in varying temperatures and with potential allergens.
  • Safely operate restaurant equipment, including knives and fryers.
