GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE

The Seasonal Task Associate (STA) plays a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence to support sales and enhance the guest experience. Your responsibilities will include keeping merchandise stocked, ensuring store cleanliness, and executing assigned tasks with attention to detail. You will work closely with the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager to focus on performance, people, and process.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Seasonal Task Associate embodies Ulta Beauty's mission and values by delivering on the following:

    • Assist in achieving the store's retail goals by ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and products are readily available.
    • Meet compliance and execution targets related to the task dashboard and ensure timely completion of operational processes, including shipment and inventory management.
    • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • People
    • Foster an inclusive environment that supports colleagues and enhances the experience for every guest.
    • Engage in ongoing training that promotes professional development and boosts sales performance.
  • Process
    • Be well-versed in Ulta Beauty's policies and ensure compliance at all times.
    • Follow the dress code as set by Ulta Beauty.
    • Assist with merchandise setups, displays, and inventory using our technology and best practices.
    • Maintain operational excellence by ensuring work areas are stocked and presented well, with products easily accessible.
    • Uphold high standards of cleanliness throughout the store, including the sales floor, restrooms, and backroom areas.
    • Protect company assets through adherence to loss prevention measures while providing exemplary guest service.
    • Complete additional operational tasks as directed.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High school diploma preferred.

Experience

  • 1 year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Skills

  • Proficient with basic technology, including Point of Sale systems and Apple devices.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Continuous mobility throughout the store during shifts.
  • Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
  • Lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 25 lbs. during shifts.
  • Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.

The pay range for this position is $14.00 - $19.00 per hour, based on factors such as education, qualifications, experience, and location. Benefits may vary for full-time and part-time positions.
