Exciting Bonuses

$10,000 sign-on bonus available with distance-based relocation options, and an additional $2,000 sign-on bonus for evening shift positions

Schedule: This full-time position includes evening 8 or 10-hour shifts with on-call responsibilities, predominantly overnight, and occasional weekend coverage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment for surgical procedures, employing aseptic techniques.
  • Assist with various surgical procedures and fulfill the role of Second Assistant as needed.
  • Ensure operating room efficiency through proper setup, equipment management, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Transport patients and equipment as necessary, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain specialty carts and monitor equipment for functionality and sterility.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide age-appropriate care for patients.

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 6 months.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
  • Capability to lift and carry specified weights and use foot pedals on equipment.
  • Exposure to multiple hazards, including mechanical, electrical, and biological.
