As a Clinical Director, you will play a pivotal role in supervising and mentoring our primary care providers (PCPs) at your center. You will be responsible for maximizing the execution of our core healthcare model, focusing on clinical quality, efficiency, and satisfaction for both clinicians and patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care for older adults with acute and chronic illnesses.
  • Take full accountability for patient outcomes and collaborate with specialists as necessary, ensuring comprehensive management of each patient’s care.
  • Engage with hospitalists when your patients require hospitalization, maintaining involvement in their care.
  • Lead a dedicated care team comprising care promoters, facilitators, and coordinators to ensure seamless patient support.
  • Facilitate care for patients unable to visit the office by coordinating with transitional care teams and case managers.
  • Conduct weekly Super Huddle and Transforming Care Meetings to enhance team communication and performance.
  • Support the overall management of the center, assist in covering for absent providers, and contribute to patient recruitment and team expansion.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to PCPs, promoting outstanding clinical outcomes and conducting huddles to share best practices.
  • Collaborate with operational leaders to optimize financial performance and increase membership at your center.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure the success of the clinical team and center.

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or closely related specialty.
  • Active MD licensure in your state of employment.
  • A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting is preferred.
  • Completion of ChenMed training and a commitment to ongoing development.
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty preferred; Board eligibility is required.
  • Possession of a current DEA number for controlled substances.
  • BLS certification required within the first 90 days of employment.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $231,876 - $331,251, along with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career growth.
