We are seeking dedicated Cable Technicians to install and service a variety of systems including telephone, security, video, and internet. If you are passionate about technology and enjoy helping customers, this could be the perfect opportunity for you

Important Information:

  • Work Type: In-person only (remote work not available).
  • Residency: Applicants must be within daily commuting distance; no relocation assistance provided.
  • Compensation: U.S.-based employment only; pay in U.S. Dollars.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Travel to other markets as needed for work assignments.
  • Complete installations following company and industry standards.
  • Accurately fill out daily reports and paperwork.
  • Handle equipment acquisition and return as directed.
  • Maintain tools and vehicles, reporting any maintenance issues.
  • Communicate with Dispatch regarding arrivals, departures, and any delays.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and promptly report any maintenance issues to the Fleet Manager.
  • Engage in technical development training and certification, which is mandatory for continued employment.
  • Adhere to all company and OSHA safety protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills Necessary:

  • Experience in installing residential/commercial video and internet systems (training provided).
  • Strong customer service, time management, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret operating instructions and procedures.
  • Basic math, computer, and troubleshooting skills are essential.
  • Capability to identify and troubleshoot CATV technical issues.
  • Manage time effectively and work independently.

Education/Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Hold a valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum of three (3) years driving history required.
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations is necessary.
  • Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check; felony convictions will disqualify applicants.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly paid position with potential production bonuses based on performance.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs., climb ladders (up to 28 ft.) and work at heights.
  • Frequent stooping, bending, and twisting required.
  • Work indoors, outdoors, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
  • Drive during all weather conditions, both day and night.
  • This is a Drug-Free Workplace; pre-employment, post-accident, and random drug screenings are mandatory.
