Become a vital member of our team as a Full Time Overnight Certified Nursing Assistant In this rewarding role, you will provide compassionate care to residents in long-term care, ensuring their dignity and comfort during your scheduled work hours.
Job Summary
The Nursing Assistant (NA) acts as a caregiver, delivering resident-centered nursing care under the guidance of a registered nurse (RN). You will be responsible for:
- Providing assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and using the restroom.
- Obtaining and recording vital signs, and documenting resident interactions.
- Offering psychosocial support and engaging residents in wellness and recreational programs.
- Assisting with meals, maintaining a pleasant dining experience.
- Supporting residents during transfers, repositioning, and mobility exercises.
You will also ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols and participate in housekeeping duties to maintain a clean living environment for our residents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 16 years old; prior nursing assistant experience in long term care is an asset.
- Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with the State Board of Nursing is required, or must obtain within four months of starting by enrolling in a training program.
- Commit to annual continuing education with a minimum of 12 hours required.
- Adhere to all department-specific requirements and certifications.
