Position Summary:
The Business Systems Analyst will provide analytical expertise to support various initiatives within the Data Operations and Technology team. Responsibilities include researching, eliciting, analysing, validating, and documenting business requirements to ensure they accurately reflect business needs and stakeholder expectations. The role involves translating business needs into system/application requirements, assisting in functional requirement development, and collaborating with project managers to manage changes, identify risks, and support proposals, feasibility studies, implementations, and new business development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research, elicit, analyse, validate, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into system/application requirements and project components.
  • Assist in producing functional requirements for tool development.
  • Collaborate with project managers to manage changes and identify risks.
  • Support proposals, feasibility studies, and implementations.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of healthcare financing concepts and the healthcare provider sector.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and manage scope and client expectations.
  • Creative problem-solving and out of the box thinking.
  • Strong planning, communication, and change management skills.
  • Working knowledge of financial documents and financial analysis techniques.
  • Advanced analytical skills using Excel, Tableau, and other data visualisation tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with minimal guidance.
