CT Tech Location: La Plata, MD Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,134 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Mid 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year required; first-time travelers accepted License: Licensed in the state of Maryland Certifications: BLS, ARRT-R required; ARRT-CT preferred Must-Have: Active state license 2 satisfactory professional references Description: The position requires a CT Technologist to work 4x10 nights with a block schedule from Thursday to Sunday. One year of experience is required, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply. Local travelers will be considered at a reduced traveler rate. The contract length is for 13 weeks, with options to extend up to 20-26 weeks. Candidates must be licensed in the state of Maryland. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R) are required. ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) is preferred. The equipment used includes Siemens scanners and a PACS system for uploading imaging. Charting will be done via Epic and PACS. Holidays and weekends are required as scheduled. Candidates will not be required to float or be on call. Selected candidates must be willing to administer contrast media and follow safety protocols. Skills in 3D rendering, abdominal studies, emergency procedures, and various imaging techniques are essential. Candidates are expected to work with a range of patient age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support will be provided, including interpretation services. Travelers are required to present compliance documents prior to starting the position. References are necessary from recent employers, specifically one supervisor and one charge RN, to ensure qualifications are met. The position requires adaptability and the ability to work within a collaborative team environment. Candidates must be comfortable floating as needed within their experience scope. Return travelers must have been away for at least six months from the previous assignment.
