Anticipated Schedule: Two available and subject to change post peak season
- Sunday - Thursday: 10am to 8pm (Sunday - Wednesday post peak)
As a Dock Clerk at Veho, you will be responsible for performing tasks within the warehouse that allow us to deliver exceptional customer service and on-time delivery while adhering to safety standards. You will have direct interactions with our transportation, launch, customer, and driver support teams. You will demonstrate the ability to be an independent decision-maker who can juggle competing priorities and complex problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift and potentially a box truck with skill and precision, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials as needed.
- Follow Veho Safety policies and procedures when checking in a driver to a dock.
- Ensure trailers are properly secured before allowing team access to load and unload items.
- Compare BOL with physical load and confirm contents match
- Verify incoming and outgoing trailers. Ensure all pallets are scanned and accounted for on outbound loads.
- Work with our Logistics Team to ensure trucks are arriving and leaving on time, and communicate any delays to the Ground Operations Team.
- Ensure all Lift checklists are completed and filed daily.
- File and organize all required documentation.
- At least 1 year of previous experience in logistics, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional experiences to team members and driver partners.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, as required by operational needs.
