Position Description

TherapyTravelers is partnering with an exceptional school district who is looking for several contract Behavioral Interventionists (BI) for the 2022-2023 school year.

  • Location: Evanston, IL
  • Duration: Immediately - June 8, 2023
  • Onsite or Virtual: On-Site
  • Full or Part Time: Full-Time; Part-Time
  • Schedule: 28-32.5 hours/week
  • Grade/Age Levels: Elementary School; Middle School
  • Caseload Description: approx. Classroom aide/support

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for a BI:
  • 1 year of verifiable professional experience with provision of ABA, positive behavior supports, and crisis intervention for students with emotional disabilities in the school setting is preferred
  • A Bachelor's degree and educational coursework completed in the areas of: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Child Development, Special Education, Psychology or a related field is preferred for Behavior Interventionist/Behavioral Therapist positions
