Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: 1 years License: State License Certifications: BLS, ARRT, NMTCB Must-Have: - Experience in PET, Cardiac, Brain Scans, Tumor Localization - Outpatient and Inpatient work setting experience - Skills in IV starts and PACS Description: Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 1 year of experience is needed. Shift hours are 8 hours during the day. Daily caseload includes 33 PET/CT scans. The PET/CT scans cover a combination of whole-body FDG PET/CT, brain PET imaging, limited cardiac PET, and neuroendocrine imaging. Two PET/CT scanners are in use. The majority of cases are for oncologic diagnosis. Experience with adenosine infusion, cerebral blood flow, and pharmacological stress is required. Candidates must be able to start and maintain IVs. Preferred scrubs color is grey, but they are not provided. All candidates should be aware of the urgency surrounding the fingerprinting process. Professional references are required. At least one reference must be from someone in a formal leadership position.
