Your Responsibilities
  • Performing in-depth patient evaluations, ordering relevant diagnostic tests, and creating tailored care plans
  • Diagnosing and treating a variety of acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently (based on credentials)
  • Providing education to patients and their families about prevention, wellness strategies, and disease management
  • Prescribing medications and therapies as permitted within your scope of practice
  • Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
  • Working alongside interdisciplinary teams to provide integrated and comprehensive care
  • Ensuring meticulous and accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
Education Requirements
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Mandatory Certifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days)
