INVESTMENT ADVISOR - Remote Opportunity
WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
Join our dynamic team as an Investment Advisor, where you'll expand your professional network among Independent Financial Advisors, CPAs, and attorneys. Your primary goal will be to engage high net worth investors interested in Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) Rochdale investment services. Build and nurture strong partnerships with financial professionals to provide exceptional investment management services to their clients. Your success will be measured by the growth of new assets under management.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
-
Design and implement programs to enhance relationships with Independent Financial Advisors, accounting, and law firms for client referrals to RBC Rochdale.
-
Keep Independent Financial Advisors informed about firm and industry developments to strengthen partnerships.
-
Ensure a seamless transition from sales activities to portfolio management for new clients.
-
Facilitate the new account setup and account transfer processes efficiently.
-
Manage communications with Independent Financial Advisors and clients to address their needs.
-
Create impactful presentations for clients to illustrate investment strategies and solutions.
-
Maintain regular communication with influential centers to ensure services meet their needs and expectations.
-
Conduct individual meetings and presentations within your assigned territory to generate new assets for the firm using a consultative sales approach.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor's Degree.
-
At least 5 years of financial experience, ideally in Investment Management.
-
2 years of experience targeting High Net Worth or Ultra High Net Worth individuals.
-
2+ years of experience in delivering formal presentations to clients.
-
Hold FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 66 licenses.
-
Willing to travel 40-50% of the time.
Additional Qualifications
-
CFA - Chartered Financial Analyst certification or in pursuit of this designation.

Highly competitive and driven by goals.

Sales and business development focused.

Master's Degree is a plus.
-
Deep understanding of portfolio management, investment techniques, asset allocation, and capital markets.

Experience working with High Net Worth or Ultra High Net worth clients.

Proficiency in financial planning and economic issues relevant to HNW clients with superb communication skills.

Proven success in the HNW or UHNW market.

Exceptional communication abilities.
-
Self-motivated and disciplined with a strategic mindset.

Demonstrated integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
Compensation Starting base salary: $101,231 - $172,355 per year, with the possibility of bonuses and commissions based on performance.
