Job Description:
  • The role involves supporting internal teams and field locations in deploying appropriate cloud solutions, ensuring successful adoption, and maintaining high technical standards.
  • The position includes solution design, technical advisory, cloud deployment support, troubleshooting, and enabling seamless onboarding to cloud environments.
  • The engineer will focus on best-practice implementation, continuous knowledge improvement, and collaboration across global units throughout the solution lifecycle.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • bility to design, deploy, and support cloud solutions across multiple cloud service providers.
  • bility to identify, diagnose, and troubleshoot complex issues with web applications, backend services, and cloud infrastructure.
  • bility to translate technical issues into clear, non-technical summaries for senior leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of distributed computing environments and large-scale enterprise systems.
  • Proficiency in installation, configuration, and management of Linux-based operating systems.
  • Experience with distributed computing management tools.
  • Experience with installation and maintenance of computer hardware including servers, storage devices, and related equipment.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies.
  • Understanding of networking and data center technologies including switching, routing, high availability, LAN/WAN topologies, and system configuration.
  • Experience with large-scale storage solutions.
  • bility to write and troubleshoot scripts using common scripting languages.
  • Experience with relational databases and database support.
  • Experience with public cloud platforms with the ability to provision and manage instances, create images, and automate deployments.
  • Experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Experience with backup and recovery tools.
  • Strong understanding of Linux security and endpoint protection.

Experience:
  • Minimum five years of experience in a large enterprise computing environment.
  • Experience working with large-scale systems composed of high-performance computing, storage solutions, and automation technologies.
  • Experience supporting cloud environments and infrastructure deployment processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Support internal groups and field teams in positioning and deploying cloud solutions.
  • Develop solution design capabilities to ensure successful and scalable cloud deployments.
  • Capture and share best practices across teams.
  • Track technology trends and apply findings to improve cloud designs and deployments.
  • Ensure successful onboarding of clients to cloud environments.
  • Manage infrastructure and image customization based on cloud adoption processes.
  • Provide technical advisory across the sales cycle including presentations, workshops, assessments, and solution design.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud deployments, backend services, and infrastructure configurations.
  • Create non-technical summaries of complex problems for senior management.
  • Conform to change management processes and perform testing before production deployment.
  • Communicate change activities clearly to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with IT deployment standards.
  • Maintain documentation, best practices, and knowledge content.
  • Collaborate with internal support groups including systems, networking, programming, desktop support, operations, and facilities.
  • Work with external vendors for technical investigations and issue resolution.
  • Provide weekly status reports and participate in regular team meetings.
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance, on-call rotations, and data center support as required.
  • Review major projects as part of the deployment process.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance, best practices, and safety requirements.
