About The Position
New Jersey's largest health system and a Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient, is seeking a visionary Chief of Gastroenterology to lead a dynamic academic division. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to shape GI care, research, and education in alignment with AtlantiCare's Vision 2030 transformation strategy.
Role Overview:

Lead the design and growth of a comprehensive GI program

Oversee clinical care, education, and research initiatives
-
Expand advanced GI services including complex endoscopy
-
Recruit, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary GI team
-
Collaborate with top partners including Drexel University & Cleveland Clinic
-
Provide direct care and consultation for complex GI cases
-
Support innovation in workforce development and community access
Schedule & Call:
-
Full-time, days (8 AM - 5 PM)
-
Manageable 1:4 call schedule, supported by APPs & hospitalists
Job Requirements
-
Board Certified in Gastroenterology - Required
-
Active NJ medical license (or willingness to obtain)

BLS, ACLS, DEA, CSR/CDS required prior to start

Minimum: 3+ years post-fellowship, leadership/program development experience preferred

Not open to new grads, APPs, locums, 1099, or visa sponsorship

$100,000 Sign-On Bonus
