School-based LPN/LVN

Are you a compassionate and skilled nurse looking to make a difference in a school setting? Join our team as a School Nurse and play a vital role in supporting student health and wellness. This position involves delivering high-quality care, applying the nursing process, and potentially supervising contracted services within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and health services to students in accordance with physician orders and Amergis Healthcare Staffing's standards and policies.

Apply the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate student health needs.
-
Provide 1 on 1 support for a student during their school day
-
Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to promote optimal student health.
-
May serve in a supervisory capacity for contracted healthcare services.
Qualifications:
-
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Licensed Vocational Nurse).

Active nursing license in the state(s) of practice.
-
Minimum of one year of professional nursing experience (preferred).

Current CPR certification.
-
PPD test or chest x-ray (if applicable).
-
Current health certificate (as required by contract or state regulations).
-
Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

Must be at least 18 years of age.
