Your Role Awaits
  • Conduct thorough patient examinations, requesting essential diagnostic assessments, and devising tailored care regimens
  • Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic health issues, collaborating with supervising physicians or independently (based on credentials)
  • Educate patients and families on health preservation, wellness practices, and disease management
  • Prescribe medications and therapies adhering to your scope of practice
  • Engage in follow-up care and chronic disease management
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)
Education and Certification Prerequisites
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Mandatory Certifications
  • Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Michigan
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP, or ANCC) or equivalent
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (or ability to obtain certification within 90 days)
