As a Clinical Associate Medical Director, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and training primary care providers (PCPs) while ensuring the delivery of high-quality care in your center. You will also engage in patient care, managing a diverse caseload of acute and chronic illnesses among older adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide independent medical care for patients with both acute and chronic conditions.
  • Be accountable for clinical outcomes and collaborate with specialists when necessary.
  • Engage with hospitalists to oversee the care of patients admitted to the hospital.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and care coordination for complex health needs.
  • Lead your care team, including care promoters, facilitators, and coordinators.
  • Support patients unable to visit the office by collaborating with transitional care teams and resources.
  • Facilitate weekly care meetings to enhance teamwork and patient outcomes.
  • Participate in center management, patient recruitment, and provider interviews.
  • Mentor and coach PCPs to achieve outstanding clinical results.
  • Work alongside center operations to improve financial performance and patient membership.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant applications.
  • Willingness to travel locally and occasionally for training and recruiting.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in clinical matters.

Education and Experience:

  • MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related field required.
  • Active MD licensure in your state of employment is required.
  • A minimum of 1-year clinical experience in a relevant healthcare setting preferred.
  • Board certification in your specialty is preferred.
  • Must maintain current certification and complete continuing education as required.
  • Current DEA number for controlled substances required.
  • BLS certification from a recognized organization is required within the first 90 days.

Compensation: $231,876 - $331,251
