Your responsibilities as a nurse include:

  • Providing care for patients with diverse illnesses and injuries in various settings, including medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and schools.
  • Collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, CNAs, and aides, to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Monitoring patient vitals, performing assessments, documenting progress, and reporting changes to the RN supervisor.
  • Assisting in following physician's orders, patient care, and administering prescribed treatments.
  • Administering medication, operating medical equipment, and maintaining a safe environment.

Key qualifications for LPNs and RNs:

  • Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Active, unrestricted LPN or RN license in the State of Michigan; a BSN is not required.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations.
  • Strong clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, and ability to communicate effectively with compassion.
