We are searching for an experienced and dynamic Onsite Health Representative (OHR) to join our team.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the WHS Site Manager, WHS Specialist, and occasionally the Injury Prevention Specialist (IPS). You will greet all new hires and engage in daily one-on-one interactions. Your responsibilities will include participating in weekly associate safety committee meetings and case management reviews as necessary.

As an OHR, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing first aid support and making referrals to medical providers as necessary.
  • Minimizing the risk of injury for Amazon Associates (AAs) through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided to AAs.
  • Coordinating the workers' compensation and return-to-work programs for AAs with work-related injuries.
  • Delivering daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
  • Engaging with AAs and leadership to coach on observed at-risk work habits.
  • Ensuring a clean working environment and maintaining appropriate medical supply inventory.
  • Participating in training and certification to facilitate first aid, CPR, and AED classes.
  • Maintaining all first aid, CPR, and AED credentials.
  • Working flexible shifts, including days, nights, holidays, and/or weekends.
  • Assisting with random saliva drug testing protocols.
  • Providing effective care in emergencies and assisting with emergency response at the site.

Additional job elements include:

  • Being able to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Standing/walking for up to 12 hours during shifts.
  • Working in varying noise levels.
  • Adapting to variable temperatures and weather conditions (outdoor loading departments included).
  • Climbing and descending stairs as required at the site.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved emergency cardiac care (ECC) provider.
  • Must have one of the following: Current valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic Certification, or Active Athletic Trainer Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with industrial wellness programs.
  • Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders and ergonomic coaching.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and Workers Compensation.
  • Experience with digital recordkeeping.
  • Recent military experience as a Combat Medic, Field Medic, Healthcare Specialist, Hospital Corpsman, or Aerospace Medical Service Technician.
