Overview
Join our National Project Management team as a Traveling Project Manager Manage mechanical construction projects from conception to completion at job sites across the United States.
Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate mechanical construction projects from start to finish
- Lead and communicate with engineering, VDC (BIM), schedulers, field staff, customers, and subcontractors
- Order materials and equipment, issue subcontracts, manage RFIs, change orders, and submittals
- Oversee fabrication shop work packages, material take-offs, and man-hour budgets
- Collaborate with Safety teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
- Plan ahead to prevent and resolve project issues
- Ensure all contractual conditions and project requirements are met
- 1-3+ years' experience as a Project Manager in mechanical construction
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of HVAC and piping systems, construction methods, and building codes preferred
- Proficiency with P6 or Microsoft Project
- Strong time management, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently onsite
- 6-day work week, 10-hour shifts
- Onsite for project duration
- Eligible for home travel every 3-4 weeks for 2-3 days
