Our client is a 25 bed Critical Access not for profit hospital centrally located in California. Minutes to wine country and over 300 wineries
Experience working in a flat organization with no more than 2 people in between you and the CEO at any time quick decisions and the ability to make an impact without corporate approval. Work with patients in a quaint community from cradle to grave and get to know them as more than just a number
Job Summary:
Evaluate and treats patients under order from the referring physician. Evaluation and treatment programs are developed through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures and assistive devices intended to maximize functional potentials in all areas of a patient's life. He/She functions in accordance with the State Practice Act.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy
- Skill Requirements: Ability to Assess patient and family needs, and develop and implement a comprehensive Plan of Care.
- Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards/requirements.
- Knowledge of Medicare documentation standards.
- Recommended affiliation with the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Licensing Requirements: Current CA Occupational Therapist License
