In the role of Respiratory Care Student Extern, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality patient care under the guidance of experienced professionals. If you are passionate about making a meaningful impact in healthcare, we encourage you to apply
Job Summary
As a Respiratory Care Student Extern, you will perform essential diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as ordered by a physician. Your responsibilities will include:
- Administering medical gases and aerosol therapy.
- Obtaining and analyzing blood specimens.
- Conducting patient tests and operating respiratory equipment.
- Assisting in patient resuscitation and providing education.
- Documenting patient records and ensuring safety and infection control practices.
This role will enable you to care for patients across all age groups, from infants to the elderly, enhancing your experience and skills in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications needed:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting.
- Must be a Student Respiratory Care Practitioner.
