This company is an Owner/Developer that competes in the restaurant/hospitality/retail space. They have 20 locations in NYC and are set to double those. They have a presence in Boston, DC, and NYC, and are looking for a solid Project Manager to oversee construction from the owner's side. This is a fun, yet passionate & committed, team. Since the company understands the value of work/life balance, this position can actually be completely remote if you want You can, of course, go into the office if you want, as well
Your new role
As a Project Manager with this Owner, you will oversee the projects and will manage the GCs who are building them. Your task will be to monitor construction progress (essentially, as the Owner's Rep), and make sure that all issues are taken care of or avoided. Because this company is focused on the restaurant/retail space, this Project Manager should have a good grasp of MEPS. Interior fitout project experience with heavy MEP scope will be very relevant to this hiring team.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5-8+ years' experience in NYC construction
- Construction-related degree preferred.
- Interior fitout experience (retail / restaurant / hospitality)
- Heavy MEP experience is ideal.
- Respectable career tenure is preferred.
