Insight Global is hiring a full-time fiber splicer in San Angelo, TX or the surrounding area. The fiber splicer will:
Perform precise fiber optic splicing and termination to connect and repair fiber optic cables.
Assist in the installation and maintenance of outside plant fiber optic networks, including cable placement and testing.
Follow detailed work orders and blueprints to ensure accurate and efficient project completion.
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to identify and resolve network issues.
Adhere strictly to safety guidelines and company policies while working on job sites.

Required Skills & Experience

a fiber splicing certification or 3+ years experience fiber splicing

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
