Staffmark is partnering with a well-established accounting firm in Monroe, Louisiana, to find a driven and skilled Certified Public Accountant to join their growing team. This direct-hire position offers a dynamic work environment for individuals with a strong background in accounting, proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks, and an active CPA license. Salary: $40,000 - $75,000 annually, based on experience

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM (with overtime potential during peak periods)

As an Accountant, you will manage the financial operations of the firm, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Your core responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and presenting financial statements in accordance with GAAP guidelines
  • Reconciliation of key accounts, such as income, expenses, payroll, and customer accounts
  • Conducting financial analysis to assess organizational performance and overall financial health
  • Timely filing of federal, state, and local tax forms
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies
  • Managing accounts receivable collections and supporting other essential financial processes
What We're Looking For:
  • Degree in Accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
  • Active CPA license (required)
  • Previous experience in tax or public accounting is highly preferred
