The Microsoft Solution Sales Executive (MSSE) is responsible for identifying new growth opportunities and key trends in the corporate and healthcare IT sectors. The MSSE is responsible for the growth of solution sales and services within the existing customer base and winning new accounts. The MSSE provides territory intelligence and is the critical resource for the Sales team's Microsoft opportunity development. The MSSE identifies, forecasts, and pursues opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from opportunity creation to the sales close. The MSSE works daily to prospect, identify key business transformation opportunities, deliver the Connection/Microsoft value proposition including managed/professional services, and consumption of Microsoft services across their named accounts. The MSSE develops and maintains strong executive relationships with customers and throughout the IT channel. In conjunction with the Director of Business Development, the Regional VP of Sales, assigned sales team, and other senior management the MSSE develops and executes key digital transformation account strategies to exceed consumption, sales, and profitability quarterly goals and quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the growth of Microsoft services and solutions within the existing customer base and prospects.
  • Identify, forecast, and own opportunities through the entire sales cycle, from opportunity creation to sales close.
  • Identify key business transformation opportunities within existing named accounts.
  • Deliver Connection/Microsoft story to customers and prospects.
  • Develop and maintain strong executive relationships within named accounts.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key Microsoft personnel.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and execute account strategies to exceed services, sales, and profitability quarterly goals and quotas.

USD $138,250.00/Yr.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in services and solution sales and business development.
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Modern Work, Security and Cloud product portfolio.
  • Experience in working directly with Microsoft field sellers.
  • Knowledge of navigating the use of Microsoft funding programs and purchasing vehicles.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to identify and pursue business outcomes that align to the Microsoft portfolio and our services.
  • Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
