Description - What You'll Do
- Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical lab tests-including chemistry, hematology, and immunology-adhering to established protocols.
- Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure that lab instruments undergo regular maintenance and calibration.
- Support specimen collection and prepare samples for accurate testing as required.
- Maintain meticulous documentation of procedures, mentor new team members or students, and actively contribute to lab quality assurance.
- Uphold a safe, clean work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.
- Achieve ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of joining the team.
- Ensure continuous certification throughout employment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for effective teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
