Job Summary: As a Front Desk Associate, you will be the friendly face that welcomes guests, ensuring that they enjoy a safe, clean, and pleasant experience during their stay. Your role involves managing check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and providing valuable assistance to our guests. You will uphold our high standards by maintaining the lobby and front office areas and may also assist with housekeeping and laundry tasks to ensure everything is ready for our guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Welcome all guests with professionalism and warmth, delivering exceptional service throughout their stay.
- Efficiently manage check-in and check-out procedures, including issuing keys and handling payments and guest accounts.
- Utilize property management systems to manage reservations, room assignments, and occupancy records.
- Provide answers to guest inquiries, resolve issues amicably, and escalate concerns to the General Manager when necessary.
- Keep the front desk and lobby areas clean and organized, ensuring supplies are well stocked.
- Assist with preparing housekeeping carts, managing laundry, and supporting additional cleaning tasks to guarantee room readiness.
- Monitor property safety, cleanliness, and compliance with policies, reporting any issues to management.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- Complete other assigned duties as required to support the team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous customer service or hospitality experience is beneficial, but not mandatory.
- Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn reservation and payment systems.
- Clear communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

- Be punctual, reliable, and available for scheduled shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility for additional coverage as needed.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and operational procedures as trained.
- Demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team and contribute to shared property goals.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to use a computer, phone, and other front desk equipment for extended periods.
- Capability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for long periods during shifts.
- Capacity to bend, stoop, kneel, and use hands to handle and move objects.
- Ability to lift/move up to 25 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Sensitivity to detect odors such as smoke, gas, or cleaning chemicals for safety purposes.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, dust, and varying indoor or outdoor temperatures may occur.
- Vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception are required.
- This role may be performed with or without reasonable accommodation.
