Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities:
  • Operations Management: Overseeing daily warehouse logistics, such as receiving, storage, and shipping.
  • Inventory Control: Tracking products, conducting inventory counts, and reconciling variances.
  • Staff Supervision & Leadership: Supervising, training, and managing warehouse associates.
  • Safety & Compliance: Enforcing safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Efficiency & Improvement: Monitoring performance metrics and implementing process improvements.
  • Equipment Operation: Overseeing material handling equipment operations.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate documentation and entering data into systems.
  • Collaboration: Liaising with various parties to ensure smooth operation
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse and supervisory role.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and supply chain management.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer systems, including WMS.
  • Certifications: Forklift certification or ability to obtain one.
  • Soft Skills: Leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Physical Demands: Physical stamina and ability to lift.
  • Education Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is often preferred
