Your Role
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, crafting tailored treatment plans suited to their individual needs.
- Implement physical therapy techniques that target mobility, strength, balance, and overall functionality.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse team including nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to enhance patient outcomes.
- Empower patients and their families with the knowledge of therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and home exercise programs.
- Keep meticulous records of evaluations, treatments, and progress in alignment with internal protocols and regulatory standards.
- Engage in interdisciplinary care rounds and team conferences to ensure seamless coordination of care.
- Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
- Possess a valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
- CPR certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in neurology or geriatrics) are advantageous, though not required.
- Previous clinical experience is strongly preferred.
- Adept at treating patients with a wide range of complex medical and mobility challenges.
- Exemplary communication and teamwork capabilities.
- Familiarity with digital charting and clinical documentation software.
