Your Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and maintain technical solutions utilizing full-stack development tools and technologies.

  • Stay abreast of tech trends, explore new technologies, engage with internal and external technology communities, and provide mentorship within the engineering team.

  • Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver resilient cloud-based solutions that empower millions of Americans toward financial success.

  • Leverage programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, and Scala, along with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases, Container Orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes, and a variety of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience (Internships do not count).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.

  • 1+ years of experience with cloud services, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

  • 3+ years of experience with open source frameworks.

  • 2+ years of experience following Agile practices.

  • 3+ years of experience with Test Automation.

  • 2+ years of experience with API service architecture testing and implementation using Spring Boot, Java, Junit, Cucumber, Gherkin, Gatling, Xray, or Pact Testing.

  • 1+ years of experience in DevOps and building tools using Jenkins CI/CD, Gradle, GitHub, Nexus, and SonarQube.

Salary range for this role varies by location. For McLean, VA, salaries range from $158,600 to $181,000, and for Riverwoods, IL, from $144,200 to $164,600. Actual salary will be determined based on offer letter.

This role is also eligible for performance-based incentives including cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
