Shipping And Receiving Clerk

Responsibilities:
Operate forklifts to move products around the facility as needed.
Greet and check in delivery drivers, verify shipment details, and collect required documentation.
Prepare and process shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, and labels.
Enter and track shipments using SAP to ensure accurate inventory and logistics records.
Schedule pickups and deliveries with carriers and communicate updates to internal teams.
Monitor dock activity and coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely loading/unloading.
Resolve discrepancies in shipment documentation and escalate issues as needed.
Maintain organized records of all inbound and outbound shipments.
Perform general clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and generating reports.
Essential Skills:
2-3 years of experience in shipping/receiving or logistics coordination.
Experience using SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
Strong communication and customer service skills, especially with drivers and vendors.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

This is a permanent position based out of Lockport, IL.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.25/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
