Facility in Altoona, PA seeking Night and Swing Hospitalist APP locums coverage Rates:$130/hr Position Type: Locum Tenens
Specialty: Hospitalist Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA)
Trauma Level: Level III
Start Date: September 1, 2025
Shifts Available: Night (7p 7a) and Swing (2p 2a)
Estimated Shifts per Month: 7 10 shifts per month Responsibilities Include:
  • Triaging ER admissions, consults, and ICU transfers
  • Managing lower acuity inpatient floors
  • Participating in shared billing and care responsibilities with physicians
  • Average caseload: admits/new patients per shift
  • No critical care procedures required (ICU closed to Hospitalist team)
  • No rapid response or code blue responsibilities
  • EMR: Cerner
Requirements:
  • Board Certified NP or PA
  • Active Pennsylvania License (or willing to obtain)
  • ACLS & BLS (AHA)
  • DEA license
  • Minimum 1 year of inpatient APP experience preferred
Credentialing Timeline: 90 days
