Our client, a leading organization in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Warehouse Operations supporting inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Lenexa, KS

Pay Range: $20.00

Shift: 1st Shift: 10:30 am - 7:00 pm, Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

  • Work in the warehouse to process receipt, put away, retrieval, and shipping of raw and finished materials
  • Perform cycle counting and inventory management tasks
  • Maintain daily housekeeping and warehouse cleanliness
  • Assist with special projects as assigned by the Lead and Logistics Manager
  • Operate a forklift for 10-15% of daily duties

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to pass the MVR check
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly and 50 pounds, 60 times in a 12-hour shift
  • Basic math skills and understanding of safety regulations (ISO, GMP, OSHA, DOT, IATA)
  • Ability to obtain forklift operator certification and basic PC skills
