POSITION SUMMARY
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for:
- Organizing and conducting therapeutic interventions.
- Maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice.
- Delivering high-quality healthcare with a focus on compassion and patient-centric care.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Formal Education / Training:
- Licensed by the State of Tennessee.
- Graduate of a school of Occupational Therapy.
- Certified Hand Therapist.
- BLS within 90 days of hire.
Workplace Experience:
- Patient Care Delivery experience is required.
Physical Requirements Include:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Prolonged walking and lifting patients.
- Frequent physical exertion, including moving supplies up to 50 lbs.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
- Conducting thorough patient assessments.
- Developing treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families.
- Applying therapeutic principles consistently.
- Documenting patient care accurately and timely.
- Maintaining a professional and clean work environment.
