Heavy Equipment Operator-Collection Operations
$20.78/hour; 40 hours/week
Closing Date: Until Filled
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid Class "A" Commercial Driver's License and/or ability to obtain one within six (6) months from the initial date of employment

The Heavy Equipment Operator must be able to inspect, clean, maintain and repair City sewer system components, including sewer service lines, sewer mains and pumping stations. Must be able to perform general maintenance work including unstopping and cleaning out manholes and sewer lines, performing manhole and service line repairs, and locating and repairing sewer leaks. Must be able to operate a variety of equipment in the performance of daily tasks and be able to use various hand and power tools, meters, and safety gear. Must perform all work in compliance with applicable policies, procedures, laws, regulations, permits, and/or standards of quality and safety and remain on call as scheduled for emergency or after-hours response.
