Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage clinical services and dedicated staff to provide exceptional treatment to clients.
- Lead clinical program service delivery aspects, including budgeting, marketing, staff recruitment, and supervision.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and the community to address concerns and promote information sharing.
- Assign caseloads and assist with identifying hiring needs.
- Conduct orientation and continuous training sessions for staff to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Document and maintain records of supervision sessions with direct care staff.
- Provide clinical oversight and handle client crises effectively.
- Facilitate productive staff meetings to enhance teamwork and communication.
- Participate in preparing the annual budget and review monthly financial statements to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Support the development of the annual strategic plan in alignment with organizational goals.
- Engage in marketing initiatives and community outreach to grow service delivery.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations and standards set by the Council on Accreditation (COA).
- Assist in recruiting and hiring processes for clinical staff positions.
- Review clinical documentation to ensure completeness and compliance with established timelines.
- Manage client authorization requirements, including timely pre-certifications and reviews.
- Provide direct support services to families as needed.
- Engage in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement activities and audits, developing improvement plans as necessary.
- When overseeing Family Centered Treatment (FCT) and/or Fostering Solutions (FS) services, ensure certification in relevant evidence-based practices within the first year of employment.
- Lead training schedules and manage the orientation of new service providers in accordance with training requirements.
- Conduct qualitative reviews of client record documentation to maintain service quality.
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Master's degree in a human services discipline such as Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Counseling, or Criminal Justice.
- A minimum of two years of experience working with children, which may include internships or volunteer work.
- Additional state-specific requirements:
- Must be registered or eligible to register as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
- Must be provisionally credentialed as a Community Support Specialist (PCSS) with eligibility for full certification.
- Completion of a clinical practicum in the relevant area of study.
- Preferred:
- Experience in supervising clinical staff.
- Certification in Family Centered Treatment and/or Fostering Solutions.
- Active professional licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.
