American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist to perform screening mammograms and bone density exams with at least one year of experience and a valid PA or Compact license.
Responsibilities- Work in a mammography department within a hospital setting
- Responsibilities include screening mammograms and bone density studies
- Day shift, Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- Potential to float within the hospital as needed
- Completion of required hospital modules prior to starting is mandatory
- Bone density studies are part of regular responsibilities
- No specific EMR or charting experience required
- Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate
- Travelers may not return as a traveler if previously employed in the same specialty
- Professional dress code; scrubs not specified
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Valid PA License or Compact License required if applicable
- Current certifications and proof of continuing education required
- Must provide mammogram statistics
