Assembler II - Precision Manufacturing
Location: Harwood Heights, IL
Shift: 1st Shift - 9 hours, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., no Saturday work

We're seeking an experienced Assembler II to join our precision manufacturing team in Harwood Heights, IL. This is a hands-on role where you'll work on complex builds, perform setups, and assemble high-quality components for demanding applications. If you have a sharp eye for detail, take pride in producing quality work, and enjoy a mix of routine and challenging projects, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

  • Assemble and test mechanical seals and/or aerospace subassemblies following detailed process sheets, drawings, and specifications.

  • Work on both standard and complex assemblies, including setups, specialized fixtures, forming presses, and laser marking equipment.

  • Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and drop indicators to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Occasionally work in a clean room environment (training provided).

  • Operate and adjust specialized equipment, including updating simple laser marker programs when required.
What We're Looking For:
  • Proven mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and engineering drawings.

  • Skilled in using precision measuring instruments.

  • Comfortable with setups, specialized equipment, and both manual and precision assembly work.

  • Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and able to work efficiently on multiple projects.
