Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Facility Maintenance Tech to join their client's team in Baltimore, MD. This role involves maintaining multiple commercial facilities, including office and warehouse spaces in the Baltimore area. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial maintenance and be ready to tackle a variety of maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities

  • Perform routine building maintenance tasks in various fields such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and landscaping.
  • Conduct general cleaning and ensure facilities are in optimal condition.
  • Manage minor electrical maintenance, including the repair or replacement of fixtures and appliances.
  • Handle plumbing maintenance tasks such as repairing leaks and unclogging drains.
  • Conduct minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work, including preparing surfaces and applying finishes.
  • Maintain and order parts, ensuring all necessary documentation is up to date.
  • Work independently, balancing urgent projects with long-term maintenance initiatives.
  • Travel between multiple locations as required; mileage reimbursed if a company vehicle is unavailable.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
  • Experience with commercial buildings, including office and warehouse spaces.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license; forklift experience is a plus.
Work Hours

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Benefits

Hourly rate: $26 - $30
Environmental Conditions
  • Exposure to extreme heat or cold.
  • Potential for noise requiring hearing protection.
  • Work with electricity, lubricating fluids, cleaning solvents, paints, and solvents.
