JOB TITLE: HR Analytics and Compliance, Analyst

JOB DUTIES:

  • Design and implement scalable General Ledger (GL) and invoice processing frameworks with audit traceability, ensuring compliance with SOX, U.S. GAAP, and PCAOB standards, while
  • supporting data consolidation, financial reporting integrity, and cross-functional integration.
  • Develop and maintain PCAOB-compliant documentation and audit-ready internal control systems by integrating COSO and COBIT frameworks, conducting risk assessments, control
  • testing, and leading remediation efforts to ensure regulatory compliance and operational resilience.
  • Administer and ensure full compliance of employer-sponsored benefit plans including 401(k) and fringe benefits, overseeing match calculations, True-Up reconciliations, IRS limit tracking
  • (402(g), 415(c)), and compliance testing (ADP/ACP, 105(h)), while implementing provisions of the Secure 2.0 Act.
  • Prepare and audit Form 5500 filings and ensure ERISA and DOL compliance through accurate plan asset reconciliations, participant count validations, and coordination with external
  • auditors.
  • Oversee global tax compliance across jurisdictions by managing IRS Form 2678 filings, CMS disclosures, international fringe benefit taxation, and pension adjustments, while mitigating
  • financial risk across global operations.
  • Create and optimize internal HR processes using Workday ERP, embedding SOX-compliant controls, ensuring segregation of duties, and generating secure, audit-traceable workflows
  • supported by role-based access protocols and compliant data storage practices.
  • UtilizeExcel for advanced financial/statistical modeling and Tableau for real-time dashboards to drive strategic forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting; translate complex data
  • into actionable insights using effective storytelling techniques.
  • Develop and deliver strategic HR communications and well-being initiatives by applying behavioral economics, organizational psychology, and cognitive behavioral frameworks to
  • increase employee engagement, improve benefit plan utilization, and foster a high-performance culture.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: This job requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and two (2) years in experience in audit, assurance, compliance or a related field.

Must have prior experience with the following:

2 years of experience in:
  • Experience in a mid-sized/regional to large-sized/national public accounting firm conducting financial audits and testing, including compliance reviews, identifying material misstatements,
  • audit walkthrough process documentation, and risk assessment in a large-sized or Big Four public accounting firm;
  • Regulations and frameworks US GAAP and/or PCAOB;
  • Data analytics and visual tools including Excel, Power BI, Microsoft and Adobe Suite; and
  • Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) Employee Benefit Plan Audit;
  • Technical accounting and tax related research using FASB Codification, IRS Publications, Accounting Manual (EY GAM/similar database)or any similar research platform to analyze
  • complex accounting issues and prepare technically compliant audit documents.
6 months of experience in:
  • Technical knowledge of psychological concepts related to human behavior and decision-making, applied to the design and delivery of total rewards communication strategies, EAP
  • engagement and employee wellness initiatives;
  • Technical copywriting skills used to create compliant, accessible and engaging policies;
  • HR compliance related regulatory requirements (ERISA, IRS Section 125 Limits, HIPAA, and ACA) to ensure plan design meets legal standards; experience supporting internal audits,
  • testing benefit eligibility, and remediating compliance gaps through documented SOX internal control framework; and
  • Overseeing regulatory compliance for the 401(k) such as overseeing match contributions, true-up reconciliations, IRS limit tracking (e.g.402(g), 415©), and compliance testing (e.g.
  • ADP/ACP,105(h)), while implementing provisions of the Secure 2.0 Act. Experience overseeing CMS disclosures, international fringe benefit taxation and pension adjustments.
