Job Description

Location: Dallas, TX

As the Wire & Cable Manufacturing Manager, you'll lead a high-impact team producing application-specific, multi-core cable and ruggedized assemblies for a variety of industries. Your leadership will directly influence our ability to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions to customers who depend on us. You'll oversee a team of both direct and indirect reports-ensuring smooth operations across multiple shifts with occasional weekend work. This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions shape safety, quality, and efficiency on the floor.

What you'll do

• Lead and support a team consisting of supervisor, technicians, and machine operators across multiple shifts

• Prioritize production schedules based on product launches, equipment efficiency, and material availability

• Resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions to improve processes

• Work with suppliers and engineers to review, develop, and test new materials for use in wire and cable products

• Collaborate with engineering on documentation, work instructions, and routing

• Participate in reviews of non-conforming materials and drive quality improvements

• Estimate labor and process capabilities for new product introductions

• Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all regulations

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback

• Oversee cross-training and development of wire and cable production staff

• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement

• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

What you need

• Strong leadership and communication skills - Required

• 5+ years' experience managing manufacturing operations, preferably in wire and cable - Required

• Ability to interpret technical documentation and production schedules - Required

• Knowledge of production planning, materials flow, and workflow optimization - Required

• Engineering discipline degree or equivalent technical background - Preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent - Required

• Proficiency in a second language - Preferred

• Willingness to work across two shifts with some weekend availability - Required

• All candidates must hold 'US Person' Status for access to ITAR controlled technical data
