Gastro Health is seeking a Lead CRNA to provide outstanding leadership to our anesthesia team and exceptional anesthesia care to our endoscopy patients at the Outpatient Center of Boynton Beach.
Location: 2351 S Seacrest Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL
As a CRNA at Gastro Health, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective anesthesia care to our patients during endoscopic procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong clinical skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Assess patients' medical history, current health status, and anesthesia needs to develop an appropriate anesthesia plan.
- Administer medications, fluids, and anesthesia according to established protocols and professional guidelines.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, anesthesia levels, and response to anesthesia during the procedure.
- Collaborate with the medical team, including gastroenterologists and nurses, to ensure smooth and efficient procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting anesthesia administration, patient responses, and any complications.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including patient education and follow-up instructions.
- Valid and unrestricted CRNA license in the state of Florida.
- Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CRNA.
- Ability to supervise and guide a team of CRNAs, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and ensure safe and efficient anesthesia care delivery
- Excellent clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with the medical team and ensure patient comfort.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and thorough documentation.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
