Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in various settings-both inpatient and outpatient-and craft customized treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions that emphasize mobility, strength, balance, and functionality
• Work in unison with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation specialists to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families through therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and at-home exercise regimens

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent credential from an accredited institution

Certifications

• State certification to practice as a Physical Therapist
