Join Our Team as a Plumbing Technician

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to play a key role in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems for new construction projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest safety and quality standards are met while mentoring apprentice plumbers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Expertly install drain-waste-vent (DWV), water lines, tub sets, gas lines, and pumps in compliance with applicable codes and exemplary company standards.
  • Fully understand state plumbing codes and apply them diligently throughout all projects.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and job site documentation accurately.
  • Provide constructive guidance and training to apprentices, fostering their development by sharing your knowledge and experience.
  • Prepare and organize project materials and layout by thoroughly reviewing plans and conducting site evaluations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site and vehicle daily, ensuring a professional appearance and efficient material management.
  • Exhibit excellent attendance and punctuality to ensure adherence to the work schedule.
  • Commit to maintaining safety standards and delivering quality work at all times.
  • Demonstrate pride in your craftsmanship by consistently delivering high-quality results.
  • Build positive relationships with team members across various trades to enhance collaboration on the job site.
  • Model a strong work ethic for apprentices and other team members.
  • Engage in daily communication with superintendents and team members during morning briefings to discuss project needs.
  • Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time, including time sheets and job folders.

Qualifications

  • Strong work ethic and motivation.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret safety regulations, operating instructions, and blueprints.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Must hold appropriate state apprentice licensing.
  • Knowledge of National and Local Plumbing Codes.
