PeopleShare is hiring for an Electrical Assembly Technician in Hanover, MD with an industry-leading manufacturing partner. This temp-to-permanent role is perfect for someone with a mechanical mindset, experience using hand and power tools, and an interest in electrical or mechanical assembly.

This is an active, hands-on job-not a desk position. You'll gain valuable experience, work alongside a supportive team, and have the opportunity to grow into a long-term role.

What You'll Do as an Electrical Assembler:
  • Wire control panels, electrical components, and wire harnesses by hand
  • Assemble and modify both electrical and mechanical components
  • Install circuit breakers, busbars, panelboard interiors, and cabling
  • Read and follow schematics, BOMs, and engineering specifications
  • Test builds using multimeters or basic functional checks
  • Support the team to meet daily production and quality standards
What We're Looking for in an Electrical Assembler:
  • At least 1 year of experience in electrical or mechanical assembly
  • Comfortable using hand tools, drills, and basic electrical testing gear
  • Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, or schematics
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. for the duration of your shift
  • Reliable transportation to/from the Hanover, MD facility
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade/technical school a plus
Preferred Experience for an Electrical Assembler (Not Required):
  • Previous work with wiring, electrical harnessing, or panel building
  • Familiarity with control panels or electrical system testing
  • Any assembly or technician background in a manufacturing environment
