Job Title: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Profession: Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2 years License: Valid ARDMS license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2 years of experience in ultrasound imaging. Experience in pediatric, OB/GYN, general, upper/lower venous, and vascular ultrasound. Description: The position requires a proficient sonographer. The candidate must be motivated to work in a team atmosphere. The individual will complete requested imaging exams in a timely fashion. Willingness to fill in for various shifts if staffing issues arise is required. The unit covers inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department cases. Equipment includes modern ultrasound machines. EMR used in the department is well-known in healthcare. Candidates should possess solid interpersonal skills. The dress code requires wearing charcoal gray scrubs. Experience with specific ultrasound systems is a plus.
