• Location: Reading, Pennsylvania 19611 (ideal for candidates seeking Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)

• Shift: 8-hour evening shifts; every third Sunday required

MRI Technologist Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as an MRI Technologist
• ARRT (MR) certification required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment and software
• Experience with contrast administration, trauma studies, triple phase studies, and venipuncture
• Fingerprinting must be completed prior to start (cannot begin with results pending)
• Flu shot required during flu season
• COVID-19 vaccine or approved exemption required

MRI Technologist Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and hospital protocols
• Administer contrast agents and conduct trauma and triple phase MRI studies
• Operate Siemens MRI technology efficiently and safely
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality care throughout all procedures
• Perform venipuncture as needed for MRI procedures
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Comply with all hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and safety standards
